Known as a Nigerian transgender woman and LGBT personality, he has amassed a certain number of followers on the social media apps Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram.
Bobrisky is the first transgender woman in Nigeria, a country with no LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) rights.

Early Life & Education
Mummy of Lagos, Bobrisky, known by many as a Nigerian LGBTQ+ activist, entrepreneur, influencer, fashion model, and beauty therapist, was born in 1991.
The 33-year-old transgender grew up in a polygamous home, born to Alhaji Musibau Okuneye, who died in August 2023 and was buried in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun state.
Bobrisky was raised in a Muslim home alongside his siblings; it was revealed that his father married 3 wives.
Her mother, Alhaja Bollington, runs a small Madogo, Ikeja, Lagos shop.
At a very young age, Bobrisky’s parents divorced, so she spent most of her childhood with her mother and later lived with her father.

In 2016, Bobrisky joined the social media app Snapchat, where she sold her skin-bleaching products and other merchandise.
This business thrust him into the limelight, making her an internet sensation in Nigeria.
In 2017, Bobrisky debuted her first role in a Nollywood movie, Ojuloge Obirin.
Because of his intensely divisive personality, particularly on social media, Bobrisky garnered traffic to her Snapchat account.
On 8 July 2021, Bobrisky revealed a new physical appearance after undergoing surgery to become more feminine.
As a transgender person, Bobrisky has been opportune to associate with many Nigerian female celebrities, such as Tonto Dikeh. Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, Google’s Communications and Public Affairs Manager for West Africa, confirmed that he was the most searched individual in Nigeria from 26 October to November 2016.
Throughout Bobrisky’s journey, there have been many controversial stories about her. Bobrisky was arrested in 2017 by the Lagos State police. This arrest was made shortly after she announced she was transgender.
She later got released from police custody, thanks to her influential friends.

In 2024, a Nigerian Activist, VeryDarkMan, alleged Bobrisky of sleeping with many Nigerian lawmakers. The Controversial Nigerian online activist made this statement after seeing a Nigerian dragging another crossdresser.
In his statement, he said: “Make dem start by arresting Bobrisky. The lawmakers wey put this law, make dem first arrest Bobrisky because we watched Bobrisky from being a man, e turn woman for our eye like this. E do breast, e do yansh, e dey wear wig, e dey go party, e dey do everything, nobody arrest am.”
Very Dark Man also assumed that Bobrisky had not been arrested because many Nigerian lawmakers were sleeping with her.
He said:
“And you know why nobody arrest am? Because the lawmakers, plenty of them dey doke am. I dare them to arrest Bobrisky for Nigeria. Shey dem say na 14 years? I dare anybody to arrest am, because Bobrisky dey come out talk say e carry man, na man dey spend for him, I dare Nigerian government to arrest Bobrisky if e no go cast! We dey country wey be say dem say na 14 years but Bobrisky dey fly.”
